Review cards for restaurants

Diners decide where to eat from the stars on Google. Most happy guests never leave a review because nobody asks and the review page is hard to find. A QR code on the table or the check puts it one scan away.

How to ask without it feeling awkward

  • Put it where they wait

Tables, the check presenter and the pickup counter all work. Guests are on their phones anyway.

  • Ask when the meal went well

A server who says "if you enjoyed it, there's a code on the card" gets a better response than a sign nobody reads.

  • Skip the bribes

Google doesn't allow discounts or freebies in exchange for reviews. A plain ask is fine.

Which card fits restaurants

Table sticker (4 × 4 in). A 4×4 table sticker stays put on the table or the window and doesn't get tossed with the napkins. Add a counter card at the register.

Download a print-ready PDF with all three sizes and print it yourself or at any print shop. The QR code opens your own Google review form and doesn't go through our servers.

Questions

Will a card on every table look cluttered?

The sticker is small and you choose the color and wording. Many places put them on the check presenter or by the door instead of every table.

Can servers hand the cards out?

Yes. The business-card size is made for that, and the same QR code is on every format.

Other kinds of business: salons and barbershops, dentists and dental offices, auto repair shops, cleaners and home service businesses.
